An independent label that guarantees the bio-based content of construction products
The label provides transparency and visibility on the biomass content in construction products. Certified by a third party, the label guarantees the percentage of biobased content. It covers a wide range of applications: insulation products, cladding, interior design, acoustic solutions... Beyond the question of bio-based products, it also makes it possible to attest to the local character, the national dimension or even the recycled content. It thus offers all those involved in the act of building or renovating the possibility of choosing products in full knowledge of the facts and of being part of an environmental responsibility approach that leaves no room for “greenwashing”.

The Biobased Product label is much more than a simple certification tool: it offers a clear guarantee for building actors and consumers, by valuing not only the percentage of biobased material, but also the origin of the biomass as well as the recycled content of the products.
To limit the environmental footprint of buildings, it is essential to use renewable raw materials, derived from biomass, and to promote the biogenic carbon storage of these products.
This label is the solution to know the composition of biobased products through a clear display of the bio-based continuous with a real percentage verified by an external auditor.
